Universitätsmedizin Magdeburg engagiert sich im Corporate Health Committee
University Medicine Magdeburg is setting an example for healthy workplaces: With Nicole Voß and Kevin Kelsch on the Corporate Health Committee, it is committed nationwide to sustainable health promotion and safety in the workplace in order to further develop BGM throughout Germany.
With the clear aim of promoting health, safety and motivation in the workplace in the long term, Magdeburg University Medicine is actively involved in the nationwide Corporate Health Committee. Nicole Voß, Head of Human Resources Development and member of the management team in the Human Resources division, and Kevin Kelsch, Safety Engineer in the Occupational Health and Safety department, have been appointed to the committee. Both fulfil this appointment with great professional conviction and personal commitment.
The Corporate Health Committee is a practical, collaborative body of experts whose members have outstanding strategic and technical expertise in corporate health management (CHM). They have passed corporate health audits with excellence status in their organisations and, with their experience, make a key contribution to the further development of the Corporate Health Evaluation Standard - and thus to the professionalisation of OHM throughout Germany.
‘A central concern of HR development is to actively help shape working conditions that promote the well-being and health of employees,’ emphasises Nicole Voß. ‘By exchanging ideas with other experts on the Committee, we want to provide new impetus and work together to further develop health promotion in the world of work.’
Kevin Kelsch also sees this commitment as a great opportunity: ‘We spend a third of our lives at work. This makes it all the more important that we make this space safe, healthy and sustainable - together with colleagues from all over Germany.’
Participation in the Corporate Health Committee is a further step with which the University Medical Centre Magdeburg is making its commitment to socially sustainable corporate management and health-promoting working conditions visible.
